Since April 2018, the market capitalization of the EOS and the Cardano platforms have dropped considerably from $4.6 billion and $4 billion to approximately $2.8 billion and $1 billion, respectively - according to CryptoCompare data. Although the sharp decline in the prices of both EOS and Cardano’s ADA tokens may largely be attributed to the overall drop in the market cap of all cryptoassets, both projects have not met the expectations of many.
