Bitmain, the world’s largest cryptocurrency mining company, earned $1.1 billion in profits in Q1 2018, according to inside sources. The Chinese mining giant is also planning to launch an IPO “very soon” in Hong Kong or another market where it can issue USD-denominated shares. Also, based on financial data shared in a private email, Bitmain may be valued at $14 billion, a 16.6% increase from its previously reported $12 billion.
