Good News for Bitcoin after Budget Session / Finance Minister clarifying govt Views on Bitcoin

Good News for Bitcoin Investors after Budget Session.
Finance Minister clarifying government's views on Bitcoin.

Bitcoin might be legal very soon in India - By Mr Arun Jaitley on Media, Bitcoin Letest News.

Mr. Arun Jaitley has given a positive view on blockchain technology and  claimed that india will be moving in the direction of blockchain technology so you might be seeing some indian cryptos in near future. However Mr. Jaitley has cleared that cryptocurrency is still not a legal tender.

However, please be informed that around the world, countries regulating cryptos have also not yet considered cryptos as legal tender including the US. Only a few countries including Japan has considered the Cryptos as legal tender which means officially Japan has to consider cryptos as a tender and you can exchange cryptos at any Japan official channel, be it the bank or government institutions.

However please beware of news channels claiming that Arun Jaitley has declared bitcoin illegal. In fact, Arun Jaitley has only said that Cryptos are not yet legal tender that means you cannot claim cryptos as an alternative for INR but that doesn't mean that crypto is illegal. Infact finance minister has never used the word illegal for bitcoin in his speech, infact government will be taking strong steps for people involved in illegitimate usage of cryptos, therefore we have strong KYC and AML policy for our users so that they are always safe from any legal issues.

So, all is good for now and it is a very good news that government is excited about blockchain technology and hopefully in near future, we will see development in that section.
